You all remember, I’m absolutely sure you do, that I walked around the streets of Barcelona with a double-scoop chocolate ice cream cone clutched in my hand. In London I wasn’t even tempted. They don’t flaunt ice cream cones there.

Anyway. I just landed back home yesterday and have no desire to get my act together yet so here is the last coffee bag.

Portrait (probably from a photo of mine, a magazine or TV reference or maybe even from life) drawn on a tag with a Sharpie pen and Crayola markers, manipulated in photoshop elements, made into athermofaxscreen, screen printed onto a used, emptied coffee bag, carelessly photographed with iPad, imported into ArtRage (Kate’s pencil, markers, palette knife).

I’m resting my frazzled brain.

From a stealth photo I took of unknown people in a crowd standing around, manipulated in photoshop elements, made into athermofax screen, screen printed onto a used, emptied coffee bag, carelessly photographed with iPad, imported into ArtRage (Kate’s pencil, markers, palette knife).

I actually remember this guy! What is this? Two years ago or so? I travelled everywhere with 5 blank shipping tags and Sharpie fine pens (not to be confused with the markers – these don’t bleed) since that was my goal for each day. I was in a hurry to finish the 100 Faces. When I reached 50 I drew on the backs after shuffling them so there would be no order to the numbering. He was sitting in the upstairs food court of a small mall (poetry) that will forever be “seedy” and slightly “creepy” in my mind (not to be confused with the trendy upscale large mall where I walk round and round when the weather is unfriendly) and where once an old woman came up to me and asked where she could catch the bus. I didn’t know exactly since the busses were towards the part that creeped me out so I didn’t venture there. Anyway, I was still shy about drawing in public so I had to be in stealth mode and was prepared to make a run for the exit at a moment’s notice.

My friend, who will remain nameless right now, has started ballet classes again after many, many years. In response to my query as to what she wore while dancing she listed all sorts of pieces of “cool” apparel.

I don’t believe a word of it.
