I was at the Morgan Library with the NYC Urban Sketchers yesterday. It has gotten too cold to sketch outdoors so we went inside and were wowed by the masterful charcoal portraits drawn by John Singer Sargent. Since I dislike sketching with a pencil on paper I decided to copy his artwork using iPat. I enjoy the 6B pencil tool in procreate and once I found a spot where I wasn’t blocking anyone’s view I dove in.

Benedicte was wearing four layers and a scarf. I struggled into my hoodie and sketched with The Wrong Hand.
