Mine after I finished.
Everyday it looks the same but today it sparked an idea.

I was supposed to have lunch with Shirley and Judy on the upper West Side. Ken and June invited us to their apartment for brunch/lunch. Ken bakes fabulous bread – I remember the bread he brought on the last day of the MoMA Print Studio where we all spent days days days making collages and zoning out – and I was looking forward to fresh just-out-of-the-oven bread. Yum.

But.

When I woke up at 5:30 am (yes, I can actually get out of bed at that hour given the proper motivation) it was 14° outside and there was no heat inside. Brrrrr. Instead I had to wait for the Nozzle Unclogging Oil Burner Guy. Bummer.

iPad; Skribl (drawing from life) (the spoon is really a fork but I don’t seem to be able to draw one yet), ArtRage (painting), Glaze (pizzazz and texture); New Trent Arcadia stylus.

Ok. Feel free to breath a sigh of relief. I know it has been a load of caffeine – no decaf here – but this is the last. One a day for a week. C’est fini, excuse my accent.

Now I’m gonna drink my Dunkin’, eat lunch, read my digital library book (yay!) and seriously contemplate a walk outside.

This is the last one of these. I like to do things in 3’s or more. Series. I probably have a zillion piles of things that are part of a series.

Hmm. I just had an idea. I think there might be another one after all.

We are covered in snow.

I went out and shoveled 4 times. One more time before I “cooked” dinner.

My neighbor snow-blew (?!) the sidewalk that I was content to ignore.

Then I got distracted.

The End.

I pretty much don’t draw after dinner because, even though it is relaxing, it is also mucho over-stimulating at the same time. Last night, late, I JUST HAD TO see if I could draw the way I draw with this new Skribl app. I couldn’t stop myself.

I discovered a feature hidden deep in this app that the developer failed to document. It happened twice, once when I was drawing the newsprint model in the previous post and again while working on this guy.

I totally forgot to eat my snacks!
