It was rapidly approaching the 3:00 deadline to clear out the ballroom and hang all the caricatures on the walls. Jes and I hightailed it out of the hotel and walked to the local FedEx store a few boring, normal, not Fremont Street blocks away. Ahead of us in the store were three guys from ISCA waiting for the digital files of their iPad caricatures to be printed. Jes downloaded her 4 files and we waited for the lone clerk to finish with the men in front of us. Pretty soon a long line formed behind us filled with people we knew. Later, when voting started, everyone walked around looking at each artist’s drawings on the walls and, on their devices. Those drawings and the ones from virtual participants were all on the Discord app along with the ballots.
