Our first Sketchwalk, after registration (see an earlier post) at the Roosevelt Goodman Center a/k/a The Hub, took place at the Art Institute Gardens. We started in the South Garden (also in an earlier post last week) and after awhile we moved over to the North Garden. I asked a street artist if he minded if I stayed awhile and sketched him. I sketched until he got some customers and then I wandered into the North Garden. People were sketching the Henry Moore sculpture, motionless, so I opened my stool, sat and went to work. Sigh. Yes. There were also trees and flowers.
