While I was in the Salmagundi Club last April someone told me about drawing on a plexiglass plate using a lithography crayon and running it through the press. When I returned in May, after 7 hours of printing JKPP Monotype portraits and
Penn Station commuters and just before starting the cleanup and packing up of artwork, I decided to do two quickies using the litho crayon and small square plexi plates. Easy peasy no mess or fuss or angst – just a straightforward process suited for a very tired printer.
