I left Gagosian and hopped on a downtown Fifth Avenue bus to the New York Public Library on 42nd Street. I climbed the stairs between Patience and Fortitude and was directed to the third floor where “A Curious Hand: The Prints of Henri-Charles Guérard” was to be found. After viewing the exhibition I entered one of the reading rooms and took advantage for awhile.
