Paula and I, after Figure al Fresco, took the train up to Bryant Park to sketch during the free Wednesday evening Accordion Festival. We dragged some chairs near this group – it was difficult to hear their music but we had a fine view for sketching. By the time people started to stand and sit in front of us we were finished. There were other groups scattered around the perimeter of the park and I wish I had spotted the bluegrass singer with his accordion earlier but I was to tired to hang out any longer.

Sketched from direct observation. Color added later at home. iPad; New Trent Arcadia stylus.
