Chapter 5: Oh. Thank Goodness

After finding a quiet space in Grand Central Station – yes! there actually was one – to lay out sketches for all to view, we headed outside. It was a beautiful day but a bit on the other side of comfortable outdoor sketching temps. Plus there was too much architecture for me – I started getting hives. Just kidding. Also, right outside GCS on 42nd Street, things were über frantic – traffic and pedestrians all suffering from too much sugar and caffeine at the same time. Fortunately, there was an indoor public space – who knew? – right across the street with a view of all the activity. Again, Benedicte was the big person and the other sketchers were medium with a smaller one outside the window.
