The four of us took the subway to 42nd Street, walked downtown along Madison Avenue and had lunch in Moonstruck which is just a block or so away from the Morgan Library and Museum. This little lounge is located between two galleries. I spent a lot of time in the one exhibiting “Graphic Passion: Matisse and the Book Arts” and only a quick walk-around in the other: “Ernest Hemingway: Between Two Wars”. Upstairs I loved and was surprised by “Martin Puryear: Multiple Dimensions”. This exhibition was continued in a tiny gallery on the first floor where I found a guard who told me all about the artist. Seems he searched for the info on Wikipedia.
