After a long day visiting several museums and galleries, June and I again spent time at the Portland Museum of Art. I sketched this statue and she went off to study a large Goya masterpiece. Waiting for me to finish she sat on a bench and indulged in artistic musings – very intellectual ones – about a row of paintings facing her.
