I walked from Penn Station this morning up to the American Folk Art Museum – a nice long brisk walk – where I was meeting Benedicte. I got it into my head that I should sketch some of the birds I saw in this museum for later use when I was at MOMA Studio. Cross-pollination museum experiences. Or something like that.

When I used up all the birds that interested me I moved on to other things. In real life the horses are elongated but much more elegant than I managed to convey.

We walked down to MOMA, stopping at the West 53rd Street Deli to stop our stomachs from rumbling and growling so loudly.
