My Personal Storm Pacifier, iPat, is charged up, ready and eager to keep me oblivious and unaware of The Outdoors. Sandy lesson was learned – don’t have to be told twice – so I filled up the tank yesterday. This morning found me walking two miles at the mall. The next likely exercise will be digging a tunnel from the front door to the street. I have a list of easy simpleminded diversions, batteries and Cheerios. YES YES YES I even have Tomorrow’s Extra Large Dunkin’ ALREADY. Of course. What did you expect?

I was inspired by a photograph showing a snippet of James McNeill Whistler’s Peacock Room (Smithsonian’s Freer Gallery of Art) that was in yesterday’s (hmm lots of apostrophes) Art Daily Newsletter.
